In the week LinkedIn got breached, there is a really interesting article on the Telegraph website about how little people really care about this
Think Tank: LinkedIn gets hacked and nobody cares – Telegraph.
Essentially as the Article points out had this happened to Twitter or Facebook the world and not just the “security” journalists would have gone nuts. I’d agree with the Article in so much as being a LinkedIn user again the second time around i se absolutely no worth in the site at all.
On Facebook, Twitter and Google+ I get interaction on LinkedIn i have a list of people I have worked with, and if i really cared for would be on my Facebook list anyway. The groups provide little not no feedback and even the employment listings provide no feedback.
The point of Social networking is in the word Social, and LinkedIn is not social its just a list..
